Mutiara Harapan Islamic School (MHIS), located in Bangka, is an educational facility whose design integrates modern architecture with an Islamic school curriculum. As such, MNTS conceptualizes a building that prioritizes function and creates a learning environment that supports the development of students' knowledge and character.

The building design of MHIS Bangka focuses on creating a calm and comfortable environment, which is ideal for teaching and learning activities, social interaction, and other activities. The MHIS Bangka building is designed with a curved mass form that resembles a horseshoe that accommodates classrooms, teachers' rooms, administrative offices, and other supporting rooms. On the outside of the room, there is a hallway with a different height from the floor that can be used for outdoor learning. In addition, to provide a barrier between the building and the public area in the center of the mass, there are white poles as partitions.

Other facilities that support the school building are placed in the outside area right next to the highway which functions as a sports area and the middle area of the school as a public space with green grass with a children's playground that can support various activities.
One of the main elements of this school design is the optimization of air circulation and natural light, which is maximized in almost every space. Classrooms are designed to be quite spacious and have many windows to allow air circulation and sunlight to fill the entire space. The design is arranged to maintain comfort and freshness in classrooms and public areas. This is an effort to be energy efficient while creating a healthy and bright atmosphere.
