KLIVE Beach Club is one of the beach clubs that provides a relaxing experience with views of the Ungasan coastline, Uluwatu, Bali. The entrance welcomes visitors with an open pathway in the form of a beautiful wooden ramp. Balinese wood and natural stone elements dominate the entire KLIVE building, creating a natural yet elegant impression. Being on the coast, selecting wood materials can reduce heat from direct sun exposure and maintain room temperature. As a commercial building, KLIVE still prioritises comfort without leaving the visual aspect of the building.
MNTS designed this beach club in an open-space style that allows direct interaction with the outside view. The design on the ceiling of the building is made high with a wooden structure to create an airy atmosphere. While natural lighting is maximised through these large openings. In the open area on all floors, a sun deck with poolside loungers facing the sea is provided so that visitors can enjoy the natural breeze. The seating arrangement is tiered to give visitors the option of enjoying the natural scenery from different vantage points. MNTS designed the sides of the building with transparent low glass walls, maximising the visual experience that visitors can enjoy. In addition, the beachfront swimming pool creates the illusion of being one with the ocean and will add a sense of interest to visitors.
